The work plan
Six work packages.
One shared purpose.
Three scientific work packages develop the archive’s core workflows. Three supporting packages provide coordination, responsible data management and knowledge sharing.
Scientific work packages
From selecting dossiers to preserving and sharing their contents.
Selection & evaluation
Develop a consistent way to prioritise the archive, then assemble a representative set of dossiers to test preservation and access workflows.
Archival preservation
Develop a long-term digital preservation strategy, moving from a reusable theoretical model to an implemented and evaluated service.
Access & discovery
Make the scientific datasets in intervention dossiers more open and FAIR, extending existing infrastructure with multilingual full-text discovery.
Supporting work packages
Work that connects and sustains the whole programme.
Coordination & governance
Coordinate the scientific, administrative and financial work, with quality assurance and responsible science throughout the programme.
Data management
Implement the data management plan, secure the research data and establish reviewed guidelines for sensitive information.
Outreach & knowledge sharing
Share the project’s methods and results with researchers, the wider public and colleagues across KIK/IRPA.
An iterative programme
WP.1 supplies the dossier test set for WP.2 and WP.3. Practical evaluation feeds back into the selection protocol and both workflows. The tasks overlap across the proposed 30 months.
